Electrolysis

Electrolysis is a method of permanent hair removal that was first developed n 1875.  It is the safest and most effective method for permanent hair removal. The electrologist inserts a sterile probe into the hair follicle and uses a very slight amount of electrical current to destroy the hair root, thereby ending future hair growth. Electrolysis is suitable for all skin and hair types. Electrolysis is considered a process of elimination in which a series of treatments is required in order to eradicate the hair permanently. To date, Electrolysis is still the only FDA-approved method for permanent hair removal.
